Johnnie and Mehmet are pair of robotic signal robots located on a pier in front of the Australian National Maritime Museum. The works where commissioned to commentate a WW1 battle incident between the Australian submarine AE2 and the Ottoman torpedo boat Sultanhisar. The signal robots act out the encounter between the two craft with semaphore like movements and signal sounds in a ceremony of remembering between the two protagonists.
